Make sure that your exposure to these clandestine scouting missions is as great as possible. College coaches don't have unlimited time and resources. They will most often attend top-notch games that are showcasing the best student-athletes around. Become as high profile as you can get. Try to get yourself in the middle of the best competition at the highest level that you can attain. It's also a good idea to participate in tournaments as much as possible for the same reason. The more student-athletes that college coaches can see at one competition, the less traveling for them. You may not be a starting forward for the Philadelphia 76’ers or a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Bucs, but if you want to stay "connected" to sports in your career, think outside the "game box."
