UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE
history and information The University of Rio Grande, was founded in 1876 and is known for its excellence, creativity and innovative approach to education, the University is situated in the town of Rio Grande in the beautiful hills of the State of Ohio, United States.
The Rio Grande Community College first opened in 1974 and, to this day, Rio Grande is a unique amalgam of private university and community college. The college campus includes a number of recreational and sports facilities such as tennis, squash and racquet courts, an Olympic size pool, football and soccer fields, aerobic and many other physical training facilities. The school also has a library, social centers, 5 Residential Halls and a Performing Arts Center. 1st year students are guaranteed space in our on campus residences, provided they meet all deadlines and conditions. If students wish to live off campus, affordable rental units are available within walking distance or a short driving distance.
