Jim Hanley, state softball commissioner, said, “We have spruced up the
look of our site to make it more professional and inviting. Our goal
is to make it a comprehensive source of information so our players,
fans and the media have easy access to the things that count like tournament

Our site contains several links to ongoing national, international

“The Amateur Softball Association in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is the
national governing body of softball. The ASA is a dynamic
organization that provides us with a lot of leadership, news and
educational material.
“we are trying to create a greater awareness for softball, attract more
players and fans, and regulate competition to insure fairness and
equal opportunity to the 1000's of North Dakota men, women and
kids who play the sport each year,” said Hanley.
The NDASA website was designed by
Jerry Busche & Associates, Jacksonville, FL. The marketing company

there are 2 theories that seem to make some sense. There is also a reference
in the household accounts of King Edward I in 1300 of a game much like
cricket being played in Kent.
