Why are some individual athletes just so much better than others? Why is it that a few athletes become really good at their chosen sport while the rest of us seem to plateau at the adequate stage? A successful effort to reward employees for losing weight could become a model for other companies concerned about employee health and healthcare costs. Many athletes do their best during practice and find that they “choke” during competition. Choking is defined as a decrease in performance due to too much perceived stress.
