Championship status there must be forty schools that sponsor rugby
as an NCAA sport across all three divisions. There are mixed schedules of varsity and club
rugby which is very important during the early stages of development
as new teams are added. The existence of an NCAA Women’s Rugby
Championship in turn, has no effect on the existence of the USA
Rugby Collegiate Club National Championship. |

Recognizing cheerleading as a sport by Kelsey Synder I am writing my essay based on cheerleading, so many people do not believe that cheering is a sport. I have been a cheerleader since I was nine years old. I started cheering for the county on a Pop Warner team so I learned basic skills and the thrill of a football game and competitions.
A pre-participation physical exam (PPE) is an important tool to ensure the safe participation of student-athletes.
Women were left out of these clubs, even though they rowed in amateur and collegiate races. In the early 1960's, the National Women's Rowing Association was formed. Finally, in 1982, the National Association for Amateur Oarsmen and the National Women's Rowing Association joined to become the coed United States Rowing Association (USRA).
Union College offers a wide variety of intercollegiate athletics and sponsors twenty one different programs as well as a cheerleading squad. the school competes in men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, cycling, football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field ( outdoor and indoor) and volleyball.
In 2007 the Quinsigamond Community College men's basketball team won the Division III, Region twenty one championship and advanced to the national tournament in Delhi, New York where the team defeated the 2006 champions, North Lake College, 72 to 67.
