OLD DOMINION ATHLETIC conference The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) is headquartered in Salem Va. and was founded in 1975. The conference was originally called the Virginia College Conference. During the past fifteen years the conference and the City of Salem have gained national recognition for hosting over forty NCAA Division III championships including men's basketball, football, softball and baseball.
