red river athletic conference region VI The Red River Athletic Conference is in its 7th year as an affiliated conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)
The stated object of the Conference is to promote education and the development of students through college athletics in the colleges and universities represented by the Conference. Three Red River Athletic Conference schools, Huston-Tillotson University (Texas), Jarvis Christian College (Texas) and Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Texas), earned recognition in the 2005-06 RRAC Sportsmanship Awards. The RRAC Sportsmanship Award is given each year to the RRAC member schools that have best exhibited the qualities of sportsmanship including fair play, teamwork, respect for the game, and conduct in athletic competition. The level of sportsmanship must be apparent across a number of sports, on and off the playing field, and in the colleges’ interaction with other member schools. |
