King College is a Presbyterian-affiliated comprehensive institution structured on a university model that offers more than Eighty majors, minors, pre-professional degrees and concentrations in fields such as nursing, law, medical and health sciences, business, computer science, education, humanities and pharmaceutical science.

Graduate programs are offered in business administration. A number of off-campus learning opportunities and travel destinations are also available.

Location: The College is situated in Bristol, Tennessee, the twin city of Bristol, Virginia. One community in 2 states: Bristol, Tennessee, on the south side of State Street and Bristol, Virginia, on the north side nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Both Bristol's are part of the Tri-Cities metropolitan area with a total population of about 450,000. Bristol is historically renowned as the "Birthplace of Country Music."

The city is home to the Bristol Motor Speedway, which attracts 1000's of people to the area each year for NASCAR races on the world's fastest half-mile track.

King College is a member institution of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the following sports are offered:

Men's Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Swimming and Diving, Tennis, Track and Field and wrestling.

Women's Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming and Diving, Tennis, Track and field and Volleyball.

Big South Conference.  Football became a conference sport in 2002 bringing the number of Division I championship sports programs the Big South sponsors to eighteen.

Big Ten Conference  The Big Ten was established in 1896 and its eleven member schools share a common mission of research, graduate, professional and undergraduate teaching and public service.

 

The origins of the game chess are obscure as there is no written account of the game until the 1600s. The first mention of chess is found in a Persian poem which say's that the game was first played in India.

In their sport, athletes spend 15-20 hours practicing and training, and during the season, many sports require considerable travel time causing missed classes. Academically, students spend 12-15 hours in class each week. To succeed at college you need a time management game-plan.

Boston University  is a member institution of the National Collegiate athletic association and competes in the NCAA Division I America East, Hockey East and the Colonial Athletic Association.

The Mountain West Conference is committed to excellence in college athletics, while at the same time promoting the academic ideals of its member schools.
