Kankakee COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Kankakee Junior College is a two-year college, accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and officially recognized by the Illinois Community College Board.

 
In its College Credit Division, KCC awards associate degrees in over 46 areas of study and certificates of completion in 17 areas. Students attend the college both to prepare to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor's degree and to prepare to enter the job market directly from KCC.


KCC also offers non-degree programs to meet a variety of community needs, including workforce development and remedial development, through its Office of Corporate and Continuing Education and its Division of Adult and Community Education.

Kankakee Community College offers Intercollegiate Athletics in men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's soccer and volleyball.
 
The Cavaliers compete within Region IV of the NJCAA. Competition includes colleges from within the region of Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan, as well as opponents from a number of other states across the country.

KCC athletic programs are open to all students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours who meet NJCAA eligibility requirements

Darton College has by far the largest intercollegiate sports program in the state of Georgia.

The stability ball or fit ball facilitates several modes of strength, flexibility and balance. As you work with the ball, you find it is especially effective in strengthening the abdominal and lower-back muscles for trunk stability.
