Pacific Dunes golf course, located at Bandon Dunes
Golf resort, Oregon. The course was designed by Tom Doak, a
relatively young golf course designer.
Pacific Dunes was constructed on the coast on a
stretch of the Pacific Ocean north of Bandon Dunes. It is a
par-71 course, that measures about 6,600 yards from the tips, with
small greens and undulating fairways.
Sea, sand and wind join together to create one of the most
challenging golf courses you will find anywhere. The course uses the
natural elements to great effect, it is not a long course but is
still quite difficult and you will pay the penalty for any stray
shot. |
