Cog Hill Golf and Country Club is situated in the Des Plaines River Valley in Lemont, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. The Dubsdread Course was designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee and the course was host to the Western Open Championship from 1991-2006.
Cog Hill has four regulation eighteen hole courses. The first three courses are quite challenging for experienced golfers but also have just enough open fairways and rolling hills that enable average and beginner golfers to enjoy the experience. Course number four however, is another story. Cog Hill Golf & Country Club's Course No. 4, Dubsdread, has earned the respect of PGA TOUR pro's since the championship was moved to Cog Hill in 1991.
