ARE YOU TOO TIRED TO EXERCISE?

 

DEALING WITH FATIGUE WHEN WORKING OUT

We all get there from time to time - too drained to want to think about exercising. But you know you still need to. What do you do? Is is just lack of motivation or is it a bodily problem. Here are some suggestions to help you in these areas and also help you learn how to get abs.


Have your iron levels checked

If you already exercise and find you are coming to your daily exercises with unnecessary tiredness and are short of of motivation, see your medical doctor and get your iron level checked. Your physician can do a blood test called a ferreting level which measures your body's supplies of iron. Aerobic exercise can begin slow depletion of iron levels through iron being lost through sweating and through leakage of small amounts into the stomach with unceasing movements. In addition, it's not unusual for women of child bearing age to become iron deficient. If you are iron deficient, iron supplementation might be all the difference in your energy levels and your outlook towards working out.

Exercise when you wake up in the morning

If you feel sleepy and less motivated to work out in the evening, try setting your alarm thirty minutes early and get your work out session out of the way before the day begins. An early morning exercise session could help to invigorate and motivate you for the remainder of the day. In addition, you be able to look ahead to an evening of leisure knowing you've accomplished your goal. This can be a clear-cut solution to the predicament of being too bushed to work out.

Do it anyway!

Sometimes the top treatment for exhaustion is a vigorous exercise session. Have you ever noticed how you will walk into the health club beat but after thirty minutes of movement you feel energized and refreshed? There is not anything like working out to get your blood flowing and take away fatigue. If it is tough for you to get inspired to make that trip to the gym, guarantee yourself a small prize once you complete your session if you follow through. Just make sure it's not a jelly donut!

Lighten up your workout

On nights that you're too tired to work out, follow a lighter, less demanding routine. To inspire yourself to take the first step, tell yourself you will only exercise for ten minutes. After ten minutes have elapsed odds are you will feel so recharged that you'll want to keep going.

Modify your exercise routine

If you feel worn out with a lack of motivation towards working out on a particular night, change your workout entirely and substitute something fun. Instead of walking thirty minutes on the treadmill at the club, take your dog for a brisk walk or do thirty minutes of stretches while you watch your favorite television show. You can get back on schedule the next time you exercise and the diversity will be excellent for you both physically and mentally.

Excuses, excuses. They are the aftermath of New Year's resolutions. If you have made some already, don't be too hard on yourself. We all make them from time to time.
