The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is a public institution of higher education with ties to private industry designed to benefit its students.
The school has a big city pizzazz and high-end sophistication. But also boasts a safe campus and a real-world mindset. FIT is at the crossroads between commerce and creativity.

FIT is fashion. We are also design, packaging, fine arts and computer animation. We are technology, and also marketing, advertising, merchandising, production. And more. Our diverse programming has grown out of a rich history. Our Institutional Advancement is based on a clear mission. Our campus location and facilities are here to serve our college community.

FIT's varsity teams include men's basketball, women's basketball, men's tennis, women's tennis, women's volleyball, cheerleaders, men's bowling, and women's bowling.

FIT is a member of the NJCAA.

FIT's recreation program is held during the day, evening, and weekends and is held in the gymnasiums, sub-basement of the A and B buildings. Co-ed sports activities include basketball, tennis, soccer, and volleyball. Special events and cultural dance workshops are planned throughout the year. Free classes include aerobics, boxing, yoga, martial arts, self-defense for women, various dance classes - African, hip-hop, jazz, mambo, salsa, and swing.

Soccer: Pastime Or Way of Life by Jamie Haines.  I joined the Amery High School Girls’ Soccer Team. What initially began as a hormone-induced interest has morphed into the very reason I wake up each morning.

The key to exercise success is to start slowly and increase gradually, and to think: "lifelong." You are developing an exercise habit that will be with you for years to come.

Regular exercise helps you feel less stressed and more energetic. Improve your health and live longer.

My Evaluation Of A risk I've Taken, By Joshua H Dotson. A local TV station in Birmingham, 33/40, awarded me the “Blitz Ball” for player of the week. I’ve accomplished a lot during my time playing football, but by far, this was one of the greatest risks I’ve taken, and a most rewarding accomplishment.
