DELAWARE TECHNICAL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE
 

Delaware Technical & Community College was established in 1966 when House Bill 529 was passed by the Delaware General Assembly and signed into law by then-Governor Charles L. Terry, Jr. A Board of Trustees was appointed to oversee development of the state-wide educational institution.

 
Delaware Technical & Community College, the 1st State’s only junior college, promises access, opportunity, excellence and hope to every student who studies at the school. the College offers academic, continuing education, technical, corporate and community training opportunities in more than one hundred associate degree, diploma and certificate programs. Courses are offered in fields that range from engineering technology, business and computer information systems to nursing, education, culinary arts, allied health, biotechnology, human services and language and culture.

The Institution is an open admission school fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Traditional classroom courses are available at 4 strategically placed locations throughout the state:

Athletics:

The College is a member institution of the National Junior College Athletic Association,( NJCAA), Region XIX, which with schools in South-eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Prospective students-athletes who wish to participate at intercollegiate level  must meet NJCAA eligibility requirements.
