The University offers over 100
majors, minors, and other program choices, California State
East Bay offers students a wide choice of
fields of study -- and also unlimited career paths. students
can choose from forty two baccalaureate degrees with sixty six
minors, thirty master's degrees, and a new joint doctoral program
with the University of California Berkeley. The Institution's most popular majors are Business
Administration, Computer Science, Art, Psychology,
Liberal Studies,
Communication and Biology.
the college is a member institution of the National
Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III athletics program in the
California State Universities system. The college sponsors
fifteen Intercollegiate sport programs. The
school is also a member of the National
Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The sports of
softball, baseball, women's volleyball, women's swimming, men's and women's soccer, and women's water polo compete as NCAA Division III independents and participate in the
Association of
Division III Independents.
