thriving community in north Alabama's high technology corridor, Calhoun
Junior College exemplifies the 2 year college mission of commitment to
excellence in service and teaching. The college offers Forty-nine associate degree programs and Fifty-two career/certificate programs, Calhoun serves just over Nine-thousand students at its 110-acre Decatur campus; the school's Huntsville/Cummings Research Park site; at Redstone Arsenal, a local military installation; and at the Limestone Correctional Facility.

Calhoun Community College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Calhoun Community College has announced the reinstatement of the school's athletics program, effective immediately. Read more about the decision to reinstate the college sports program. The college is thrilled to be able to bring athletics back to Calhoun and to offer this program to our students. Athletic scholarships will be available for those students selected for the teams.
