BROOKDALE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE
Brookdale Community College is situated in the Lincroft section of
the town of Middletown and has became an great resource for residents of
Monmouth County, New Jersey. The School offers associate two year
degrees in over Fifty programs, plus certificate programs and noncredit
classes in many other areas of personal and professional interest.
Brookdale Community College was founded in 1967. Equal opportunity for
everyone is a mandate of the school; Brookdale does not discriminate
against anyone on any basis, either in education or in employment
practices.
In excess of 13,000 full and part time students are enrolled. Of these
students, 80.4 percent have declared themselves degree-seeking, Over
Seventy-two percent of Brookdale Community college graduates move on to
a four year college.Many students are eligible for various forms of
Financial Aid administered through the college, including federal and state
grants and loans, and private scholarships offered through the Brookdale
Foundation.

The college also operates various education sites around
Monmouth County. These higher education centers offer local access to
the institution's credit and noncredit programs and services, as well as
contributing to the cultural vitality and economic growth of Monmouth
County.
The campus also includes a 380-seat Performing Arts Center,
an Advanced Technology Center, ten athletic fields, Brookdale
public radio 90.5 The Night, the Children's Learning Center, and
sixty computer labs with around One-thousand six hundred fully
networked PCs running all today's mainstream applications.
Brookdale Community College is an open admission school,
available to anyone Eighteen years of age or older, anyone who
is a high school graduate or holder of an equivalency diploma.
If you do not have a high school diploma or an equivalency
diploma, you may still enroll at the school as long as you are
at least eighteen years old. |
