Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is situated in the city of Bowling Green, Ohio, APPROX twenty miles south of Toledo. The school combines the personal atmosphere of a small college with all of the opportunities of a large university.
The university offers more than two hundred undergraduate majors and programs.

there are approximately 20,200 students enrolled at at the college, 17,300 are undergraduate students, ten percent come from outside the state of Ohio (this figure included more than five hundred and forty students from foreign countries), and more than 1,680 are African American, Hispanic, Native American or Asian American.

Bowling Green State University is a member institution of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division I, and competes in the Mid American Conference.
