Boise State University ensures student-athletes’ health and safety by providing on-campus medical services through the Idaho Sports Medicine Complex. Moreover, student-athletes are encouraged to not only improve their skills in athletics, but also in academics. The Peterson-Preco Learning Center is an academic facility for student-athletes which give them the time and space to focus on their studies.

More than 25 student-athletes have graduated and continued to compete professionally in their sport. In addition to this, the Broncos boast 53 Athletes of the Year titles, 1 national team championship, as well as 9 individual national champions. Guide to Athletic Scholarships for Boise State University

Boise State University offers scholarships and awards for students who demonstrate financial excellence. To apply for scholarships at Boise State University, one must be a full-time student enrolled in 12 or more credits. A cumulative GPA standing of 3.0 is also necessary to be considered for scholarships. Athletic scholarships, made possible by the Bronco Athletic Association, vary in value and are applied for through the athletic department. In addition to the athletic scholarships, students may also apply for scholarships directly from their academic department. Student-athletes at Boise State have the highest cumulative grade point average on record for all the athletic departments in the United States at an average standing of 3.0, making many eligible for Boise State scholarships. Scholarships are available for both students who are Idaho residents as well as students from out-of-state.
