HOOP GOD®: Basketball Gear of the Future

HOOPGOD founder, Eric Carlson has brought a quite unique mix to the design table. He has participated personally at nearly every level the sport during the past thirty years, he brings a breadth of exposure to the basketball playing population that few can match.

The HOOP GOD® Basketball Gear’s built-in marketing versatility enables it to be diversely multi-theme oriented and continually "re-inventable." This is an asset the label's inventor intends to exploit with a promise: "This brand will work harder than any other brand on the market when it comes to striving to capture every basketball player's attention...and not let go," guarantees Carlson.

It is this fantasy world that drives the new HOOP GOD® line of basketball clothing. HOOPGOD, Inc. has entered into a preemptive partnership with new author Bruce Comstock to market his concept into an entire line of apparel and merchandise. Where other brands are just a label, HOOP GOD® strives to be more by having a fully developed entertainment package behind its name.

What's in a name? Only the entire street-ball market, every kid’s desire, and all basketball aficionados’ interest...but that’s it...

The single biggest attraction of the HOOP GOD® line is the fundamental power within its label: HOOP GOD®. The draw to the street-ball market becomes obvious; no other sport generates an egotistical nature within its competitors like the game of basketball. With this need to boast comes the obligation to wear your self-professed level of ability on your sleeve. What other label can be more boastful than being called a deity within the sport?
In addition, the image of the logo invokes a stylistic appeal desired by the youth of today, a generation drenched in cartoon-influenced media.

When these marketing factors are coupled with a label backed by creative basketball-detailed content, the brand’s marketing web captures the basketball community, players who recognize and respect the authentic basketball elements that are intregal to the brand’s conceptual design.

What does the Brand of the Future have in its future?
In the near future, the HOOP GOD® label will be branching into basketballs and other sport equipment, the comic industry, and various other types of games, all carrying the brand name (or being co-branded). There will soon be upgrades to the various elements of the website, spurring the release of a variety of web-based marketing products (e.g., wallpaper, screen savers) while also implementing a higher level of website interactivity.

Remembered Event by Robert Higgins. When I was in my pre-teen years, my life revolved around basketball. I ate, slept, and breathed basketball. If I wasn’t out playing it, then I was probably watching it, and if I wasn’t doing any of hose things then I was asleep dreaming about it. Basketball was life.
