Under Armour Performance Clothing has announced that it has renewed its contract with USA Baseball, staying as the official supplier of performance apparel to USA Baseball. The contract has been extended until 2008 and is an extension of a deal first signed in 2000, following the Sydney Olympic Games.
According to the terms of the new contract, as an Official USA Baseball Supplier, Under Armour® will continue to have the rights to USA Baseball's marks and logo, and will supply performance apparel to the USA Baseball Pro. Team, the USA Baseball Junior National Team, the USA Baseball National Team and the USA Baseball Youth National Team. Under Armour® will continue to use the USA Baseball partnership in its promotional campaigns. also, authentic Under Armour®/USA Baseball products will be available beginning this winter. Under Armour® is the originator of performance apparel, a line of moisture-wicking micro fiber sports clothing that takes or wicks perspiration away from the skin to keep athletes cool, dry and light throughout the course of a game, workout or practice. |
