Of this sensational game which I’ve played ever since I could crawl

Packed full of instantaneous, erratic twists and turns
Keeping all “hungry,” veracious B-Ball players wanting “some burn”

Every player adding his unique personality into the game
So maybe now they can earn even just the slightest bit of high school fame

We have twelve devoted friends on our Varsity team
With wonderful coaches, whom we keep in total esteem

We are united together, like the Three Musketeers
We’ll ride valiantly into war because there’s nothing we fear

Then there’s T, Te, and Lil James who dribble the most

And you can’t forget AJ and Malcolm with the nicest shot
Who also keep the team’s momentum ticking like a time-clock

Basketball is my other brother, sister, parent, my wife
Basketball is my love, my passion, my craving
