GOLFHow golf has evolved over time by Taylor Klutts The game of golf has been around for about 600 years. Many people have played this game over the years and changed the rules and regulations many times. The game of golf has evolved greatly since the fifteenth century.
The Early Romans played a game very similar like golf by hitting a feather-stuffed ball with club-shaped tree branches. Pictures in books also show the Dutch playing a similar type of game on their frozen canals during the 1500's. |

The NCAA allows each division 1 men's golf program 4.5 scholarships and
in division 2, 3.6 are available. For women there are 6 Golf
Scholarships
available in division1and 5.4 in division II.
During the last 15 years the golf industry has grown substantially, far outpacing inflation. It is expanding in a manner consistent with the most optimistic projections made by the National Golf Foundation in the late 1980s. |

The majority of the school's student population resides and works on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. In 2001, Blackfeet Community College started planning for the delivery of internet based academic college courses. In 2003 the school offered its 1st schedule of courses on-line.
