AIKEN TECHNICAL
COLLEGE
Aiken Technical College has a long and respected history in the Aiken
community. Classes for what is now Aiken Technical College (ATC) began in
temporary facilities in Aiken in the fall of1972. 177 students enrolled in
the 1ST class of what was then Aiken Technical Education Center. The current
campus opened in the winter of 1973.
The original ATC campus consisted of ONLY 3 buildings constructed at a cost
of $2.3 million - $800,000 provided by Aiken County and the remainder coming
from federal education grants. Now, nearly thirty years after its founding, ATC has grown into a multi-service, 2-year comprehensive college offering
numerous educational opportunities in college transfer, public service,
health, business, industrial, engineering technology and computer technology
programs.More than 3,400 students enroll in credit courses each year, and
ATC's non-credit programs reach nearly ten-thousand people each year.

Most people know that fruits
and vegetables provide many important vitamins and minerals. If
vitamins and minerals were the only reason to eat plenty of fruits and
vegetables, then supplements might be a fair substitute.
The Ride Of A Lifetime by Taylor Hooks. Family and friends try
to guess how I even became involved in riding. The answer is simple;
in two words, First Love. From the time that I could stand as a
toddler, I have wanted to be placed on top of a horse.
Knicks, Flaws and Future By Jake Ratner. The New York Knick’s
record currently sits at a disappointing 28-52. Another 50 loss
season, another year with no sizable progress.
